Ocean ecosystems and seafood markets are global. Our strategies need to reflect that reality. We work to promote policies and strategies that accelerate progress in specific countries with outsized influence on ocean health, as well as across regions and around the world.
Specifically, we work with partners to advance the following global strategies:
- Promote global markets for sustainable seafood;
- Work to eliminate illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing, referred to as “illegal fishing” here; and
- Protect seabirds and shorebirds and their habitats.
