Study of California’s Transitional Kindergarten Program
In 2010, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger signed the Kindergarten Readiness Act into law, which established a new grade level—transitional kindergarten (TK). American Institutes for Research (AIR) conducted an investigation of the planning and implementation of TK in the 2012–13 school year.
Learning from the Community Leadership Project
The Community Leadership Project (CLP) is a partnership to build the capacity of organizations serving low-income and diverse communities. Findings from an evaluation of Phase 1 of the Project are captured in multiple reports, one for each of the Project's three strategies.
