Damon James is an associate general counsel at The David and Lucile Packard Foundation, supporting the work of the Office of the General Counsel in grantmaking, operations, governance, and other legal issues.
Damon previously worked at the Silicon Valley Community Foundation, where he oversaw risk, compliance, and international grants administration. He has extensive experience working with local nonprofit organizations.
A Bay Area native, Damon earned a Juris Doctor from the Santa Clara University and a Bachelor of Arts from UCLA. He is admitted to practice in California.
