Information automatically collected

Online Tracking

Our Sites automatically gather certain traffic information, such as Internet Protocol (“IP”) addresses and other numeric codes used to identify a computer. This information is aggregated and may not personally identify you. It is collected to help us improve the Sites and the services we offer. For example, we may use IP addresses to monitor usage of the Sites to better prepare for anticipated traffic patterns. As described in the Google Analytics section below, we use Google Consent Mode. As a result, Google may use anonymized signals collected through our Sites to generate aggregated statistical models about user behavior. This modeling uses only non-identifying, aggregate data and does not link browsing activity to any individual user.

Cookies

Cookies are small text files used to collect information and pixels are transparent images that allow us to understand how users interact with our Sites. We use cookies and other similar technologies to maximize the performance of our Sites and services, improve functionality by detecting and/or remembering some features of your device, region and language choices you make, including:

  • IP address, the type of browser or device that you are using, referring and exit pages, domain and other system settings and operating system; and
  • Information regarding how you interact with the Sites including the date and time of your visits, webpages visited and links clicked.

You can opt out from any of these cookies by adjusting your browser settings to reject cookies. If you have previously visited our Sites, you may also have to delete any existing cookies from your browser. Many of our cookies are functionality cookies and some of these cookies are managed for us by third parties. You can control the use of these cookies through your browser settings, but if you opt out from them, we may be unable to offer some services or support and we may also be unable to remember your preferences or that you did not want a certain function of the Sites. Our cookie consent pop-up allows all users to decline non-essential cookies, including analytics cookies.

The cookies we use fall into three categories.

Necessary: Necessary cookies help make the Sites usable by enabling basic functions like page navigation and access to secure areas of the Sites. The Sites cannot function properly without these cookies.

Functional: Functional cookies record information about the choices you have made and allow us to tailor the Sites to you. These cookies mean that when you continue to use or come back to the Sites, we can provide you with our services as you have asked for them to be provided.

Analytics: Analytics cookies help us understand how our visitors use our Sites. These cookies can provide us with information to help us understand which parts of the Sites interest our visitors and if they experience any errors. We use these cookies to test different designs and features for our Sites and we also use them to help us monitor how visitors reach the Sites. We may receive reports based on the use of these technologies by these companies. If you decline analytics cookies, we will not set analytics cookies on your device. However, as described in the Google Analytics section below, our Sites use Google Consent Mode, which may transmit limited anonymized signals to Google even when analytics cookies are declined. These signals do not include cookies or persistent identifiers and are used only for aggregated statistical modeling.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, to help us understand how users engage with the Sites and to improve their content and performance. In addition, our Sites use Google Consent Mode, which adjusts how Google Analytics operates and uses cookies based on your consent choices. If you consent to cookies on our Sites, Google Analytics uses first-party cookies and similar technologies to collect information about how you use our Sites, including pages visited, time spent, and technical information about your device and browser.

Because our Sites use Google Consent Mode, if you decline analytics cookies, Google Analytics will not set cookies on your device. However, in this no-cookie state, Google may still receive limited anonymized, non-identifying signals that do not include cookies or persistent identifiers. Google uses these signals to generate aggregated statistical models that help us estimate overall traffic patterns without identifying individual users.

For more information about how Google collects and processes data, visit “How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services“. To opt out of Google Analytics measurement across all websites you visit, you may install and enable the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
