Lana Dakan

Global Reproductive Health Director

Lana joined the Packard Foundation in January 2006 as a Program Officer in the Reproductive Health (RH) Program and oversees grantmaking in the program’s Global and South Asia subprograms; in 2019, she became the Deputy Director for RH. She has over twenty years of experience working on reproductive health and rights in the U.S. and globally. Prior to joining the Foundation, Lana worked in Indonesia for the USAID and Pathfinder International providing strategic and technical assistance on programs to expand access to quality family planning services. Lana served as a U.S. Peace Corps volunteer in the Philippines and speaks Indonesian. She holds a master’s degree in public health from the University of Michigan and a bachelor’s degree in international relations from Occidental College.
