Purpose

for general operating support and for core support of the Fondo Costero, which catalyzes collaboration and capacity-building among Indigenous organizations, local communities, and artisanal fisheries in Chile through supporting their work to enhance the long-term health and resilience of coastal-marine ecosystems along with their associated livelihoods

Purpose

to support: the strengthening of local capacities to advance community-led conservation, climate and management actions in Marine and Coastal Areas for Indigenous Peoples (MCAIP); conduct a learning exchange between donors and local communities to explore collaboration opportunities; support Chaitén Indigenous communities and fishers in the marine spatial planning and fisheries management on their Territorial Use Rights in Fisheries; and enable Caulin MCAIP to scale up the kelp reforestation program and explore sustainable aquaculture opportunities for the local community
