Purpose

to enhance Costa Humboldt's conservation strategies for the region's unique marine ecosystems; catalyze collaboration and capacity-building among administrators of Marine and Coastal Marine Areas for Indigenous People and their partners through the Small Donations Program, to implement impactful conservation initiatives aligned with local communities, bolstering the long-term health and resilience of marine ecosystems

Purpose

to support: the strengthening of local capacities to advance community-led conservation, climate and management actions in Marine and Coastal Areas for Indigenous Peoples (MCAIP); conduct a learning exchange between donors and local communities to explore collaboration opportunities; support Chaitén Indigenous communities and fishers in the marine spatial planning and fisheries management on their Territorial Use Rights in Fisheries; and enable Caulin MCAIP to scale up the kelp reforestation program and explore sustainable aquaculture opportunities for the local community
