Tom Bowmer is the investment and tax controller at The David and Lucile Packard Foundation. He oversees the investment accounting function and is responsible for managing annual tax filings.
Prior to joining the Foundation, Tom was the tax officer at The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation. He obtained his CPA license while working for the public accounting firm BPM LLP.
Tom has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master of Business Administration from San Francisco State University
