Mia is a Program Research Analyst with the Families and Communities team at the Packard Foundation, through the UC Berkeley Haas Philanthropy Fellowship. In her role, she primarily works with the Child and Family Initiative, dedicated to advancing the health and well-being of families, children, and birthing people. Prior to Packard, Mia worked in public health research and consulting at JSI, focused on cross-sector efforts to advance health equity in California. She also worked as a Policy and Research Associate at the Asian Pacific Institute on Gender-Based Violence, leading qualitative research with survivors to inform policy recommendations. Mia is passionate about advancing health equity by bridging the gaps between research, policy, and community engagement. Mia holds her Master’s in Public Health from UC Berkeley and her BA from Harvard College in Psychology and Global Health.
