Linh Tran is a grants officer at The David and Lucile Packard Foundation, supporting the Just Societies teams. She oversees the grantmaking budget administration and collaborates on cross-Foundation efforts to strengthen grants management practices. Linh also provides guidance on international compliance, including the Foundation’s watch list process and grants involving countries subject to U.S. sanctions.

Before joining the Foundation, Linh worked in grants management at the Silicon Valley Community Foundation, where she oversaw due diligence and workflows for donor and corporate-advised grant recommendations. Earlier in her career, she held a fellowship with the East Bay Community Law Center, managing evaluation reports and supporting development efforts tied to Community Development Block Grant funding.

Linh holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California, San Diego.
