Amy Qualliotine is the strategic communications director at the David and Lucile Packard Foundation where she partners closely with grantmaking teams, leveraging communications tools to drive progress against initiative goals.
Amy joined the Foundation in 2023 from Edelman, a global communications agency, where she led the company’s Bay Area Health Team. In this role, she healthcare clients on multi-channel communications campaigns that drove awareness and behavior change among diverse audiences. She also led team operations, including career coaching, financial management, and business development.
Prior to joining Edelman, Amy was a consultant with Deloitte where she delivered high-impact communications strategies to large federal government agencies. She got her start in communications at the National Women’s Law Center where she managed public advocacy campaigns and grassroots mobilization on a portfolio of employment, education, economic security, and health issues.
Amy has a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University and upon graduation taught fourth grade in rural Louisiana as a Teach For America corps member
