Laura is a program associate on the Just Societies team. Previously, she served on the Special Initiatives team within the President’ s office. Her role includes managing the Special Initiatives grantee portfolio administration and cultivating grantee partnerships. Laura joined the Packard Foundation in 2008, serving as a Conservation and Science program associate for several strategies including, Agriculture and Climate, Global Seafood Markets, China Marine, and Japan Marine.  In 2018-2019 she also served as the Conservation and Science program operations manager.

Prior to her tenure at Packard, Laura worked at several environmental non-profits in California, including Northern Sierra Partnership, Friends of Santa Cruz State Parks, and Sierra Business Council. Laura holds a BA in English and Journalism from the University of Texas at Austin.
