Prior to joining the Foundation in September 2016, Katie worked for Peninsula Family Service, where she secured grant funding for the organization’s programs serving children, families, and older adults, and expanded program evaluation and impact measurement. Katie’s previous experience includes working for a variety of nonprofit organizations in the social services sector, and completing an AmeriCorps service term as a classroom coach where she worked to advance kindergarten readiness at state-funded preschools. She holds a master’s degree in public administration from San Francisco State University and a B.A. in English from the University of California, Irvine.
When she’s not working, you’ll find Katie hiking coastal trails, experimenting with new recipes, or tending to her burgeoning herb and vegetable garden.
