Katherine is an elementary school educator with deep experience in classroom teaching, math intervention, and teacher preparation. She currently serves as an instructional coach in mathematics at a public school in San Francisco. In addition to teaching, she has spent time in international service; working in refugee camps in rural Thailand and education programs in South Africa.

Katherine lives in San Francisco with her husband Erik and two children. She holds a BA in Human Biology from Stanford University and a Master’s Degree in Education from George Washington University. Katherine serves on the boards of Spark* SF Public Schools and The Lucile Packard Foundation for Children’s Health.
