Juli is a program associate at The David and Lucile Packard Foundation. She supports the Foundation’s grantmaking that focuses on communities that rely most on a healthy ocean, working with them to develop and carry out solutions that restore marine biodiversity and to ensure fisheries are managed responsibly and sustainably to benefit both people and nature. One of her key roles is to help ensure that Foundation’s processes and systems are accessible and clear to those seeking and receiving funding. She also looks for ways we can improve and works with colleagues to develop and implement solutions.

Juli brings experience and love of working with data, discovering insight through collaborative reflection, and improving organizational processes to her work. Prior to joining the Foundation, Juli worked with Pesticide Action Network North America, World of Good, and the Organic Farming Research Foundation. Juli holds Bachelor of Environmental Studies and Bachelor of Anthropology degrees from the University of California, Santa Cruz and speaks intermediate Spanish.

When she’s not working, Juli can be found outside enjoying the amazing wildlife around us, and leading field trips to share that experience with her community.
