Christina Deagen is an initiative coordinator at the David and Lucile Packard Foundation, providing operational, administrative, and grantmaking support to help ensure California’s communities are strong and resilient.

Prior to joining the Foundation, she worked as a German teacher then transitioned to the professional development team at IXL Learning, an EdTech company. Christina earned her B.A. in Global Studies with a minor in Public Relations at San Jose State University, where she studied in Oslo, Norway for a semester. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and learning new languages.
