Amy joined the Foundation in 2006. She is a Program Associate working on the Sub-Saharan Africa subprogram. Amy holds a Master’s degree in public health from the University of Cape Town, South Africa, and a B.A. in sociology from University of California, Santa Cruz. Prior to joining the Foundation, Amy worked with both nonprofit and for-profit organiations, including a county public health program focused on maternal and child health. Amy has lived and traveled extensively in Europe, South America, and Sub-Saharan Africa.
