One of The David and Lucile Packard Foundation’s primary goals is to restore the health and productivity of the world’s oceans and coasts, on which all life depends. The Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute (MBARI), one of the Foundation’s marine science grantees, has been working for 25 years to explore and better understand our oceans.
