Wanchee Pei is the Program Operations Manager for the Conservation and Science Program. In this role, she manages the internal operations and administration of the program and collaborates closely with partners across the Foundation to continuously improve our processes.
Prior to joining the Foundation in 2019, Wanchee worked at Genentech, most recently as a Group Manager of Market Analysis and Strategy, where she led a team delivering commercial strategy insights and recommendations for a broad portfolio of medicines. Over the course of 2018, she was also part of the HandsOn Bay Area fellowship program, which focuses on developing community leaders and supporting nonprofits in the Bay Area through volunteer management services. Prior to moving to San Francisco, she was at ZS Associates as a consultant in San Diego, CA and Princeton, NJ, advising healthcare clients on business strategy and operations.
Wanchee holds a B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering and a M.Eng in Engineering Management from Cornell University.
