Kasahun is a program specialist for the Reproductive Health program. He joined the Packard Foundation in 2016 after working as a regional team leader for Engender health in Ethiopia and as a health department head for an integrated rural development project in Ethiopia. Throughout his career in Ethiopia’s nonprofit sector, Kasahun has worked in public health, communicable disease prevention and control, reproductive health, nutrition, HIV/AIDS, and project management. Kasahun holds a Masters of Public Health from Hawassa University and a bachelor’s degree from Debub University.
When he is not at work, Kasahun enjoys workouts, watching football/soccer, watching movies, reading books, and volunteering for elder care.
