Gabriela is the senior advisor for the Mexico Marine Strategy, where she supports the Strategy´s grant development and grant-making processes. She also provides technical advice for grantees and is responsible for developing and participating in partnerships with other donors and partners working in Mexico. Gabriela has extensive experience working on marine & coastal conservation, environmental policy, and convening and facilitating multi-stakeholder collaboration networks. She is driven by the desire to break down silos and deepen intersectional work as a means to achieving the health of the earth, social justice, and human well-being. She is the proud mother of a wildly independent daughter and enjoys writing and sewing in her free time.
