Gabriela is the Senior Advisor for the Packard Foundation’s Chile and Mexico Marine Strategies, where she supports the Strategies´ development and their grant-making processes. She also supports dialogue and shared learning among grantees and is responsible for participating in partnerships with other donors and partners working in Chile and Mexico. Gabriela has extensive experience working on marine and coastal conservation, environmental policy, and convening and facilitating multi-stakeholder collaboration networks. She is driven by the desire to break down silos and deepen intersectional work as a means to achieving the health of the earth, social justice, and human well-being. She is the proud mother of a wildly independent daughter and enjoys writing and sewing in her free time.
