Arum Lee Lansel is the Program Operations Manager for the Organizational Effectiveness team. Prior to joining the Foundation, she was a Senior Project Officer for Tetra Tech DPK, a consulting firm that helps developing and transitioning countries establish the rule of law and develop sustainable government and justice systems that are responsive, transparent, and fair. In this role, she managed all operational aspects of highly complex, multi-million dollar development projects funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the US Bureau for International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL). Her portfolio included projects in Democratic Republic of Congo, Jordan, the West Bank, and Iraq. She also previously worked for International Justice Mission (IJM), a non-profit organization working to protect the poor from violence in the developing world. At IJM, she managed the international fellows program and helped deploy hundreds of students and young professionals to 14 project sites around the world. Arum received her Master of Arts degree in International Development from American University, School of International Service and her bachelor’s degree from Cornell University.
