The Packard Foundation has a strong commitment to the development and effectiveness of private philanthropy. We continually strive to improve our own practices and effectiveness, and we share a responsibility to help improve the grantmaking sector as a whole. To that end, we support a limited number of grantees that serve the philanthropic sector.
The Philanthropy subprogram makes a limited number of grants each year to support and improve the philanthropic infrastructure and to build and disseminate knowledge about effective philanthropy.
