Interested grant-seekers are requested to submit a letter of inquiry (LOI) to population@packard.org. Upon review of the LOI, applicants will be informed whether to submit a full grant application.
Letters of inquiry (LOIs) should not exceed three pages in length. These letters should include a brief overview of the applicant organization and its mission, along with a description of the project for which funding is being requested, including goals, major strategies and rationale.
A cornerstone of our approach is to monitor comprehensively, evaluate selectively, and learn continuously. We prioritize efforts to share lessons learned from our grantmaking. We are committed to funding grants with comprehensive monitoring, learning and evaluation frameworks and strong dissemination plans.
Every attempt is made to respond to LOIs within 4-6 weeks of receipt. To follow-up on an LOI and for other inquiries, please email population@packard.org.
Please note that we make grants to non-governmental organizations and networks. While we coordinate and work closely with public sector stakeholders, generally the Foundation does not fund governmental institutions.
Please direct all other questions about the Population and Reproductive Health program to population@packard.org.
