Our audited consolidating financial statements include the financial activities of the David and Lucile Packard Foundation and its affiliate, the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute (MBARI). MBARI is an affiliate of the Foundation because the Foundation is its sole member, appoints its board of directors, and provides a substantial majority of its financial support.
